Something Old

The old rhyme "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" has brought good luck to hundreds of brides over the years. Sometimes it's hard to be original with what you're items will be. Look no further because we have you covered! Here are some something old ideas!

- A penny or other coin. The older the better!

- An antique broach or hair piece from a local antique store.

- Lace from your mother or grandmother's wedding dress sewn to the inside of yours.

- A flower from an old plant tucked into your bouquet

- Vintage jewelry

- The buttons of one of your father's shirts to hold your bustle.

- An old handkerchief or doily wrapped around the stems of your bouquet.

- Your first cross, Bible, or rosary. Carry it down the aisle with you and hand it to your father (or whomever is escorting you) after he gives you away.

- A locket with old photos of someone important to you.
