Wedding Flashback: 1960's

Hem those skirts ladies and show some leg! Wearing less was all the rage in the 60's as ladies were allowed to start being a bit more risque with their clothing. That included wedding garb!

Everything was smaller, the gowns, the veils, the bouquets. Everything except the party, that is! Dinner and dancing were all the rage leading the way to the modern wedding reception we know today. The young adults would party as long as their was music to be danced to and alcohol to be drank.

The sixties also introduced us to the first, rare, color photographs! Having a photographer at your wedding was a must, so that you could put together a photo album! Less expensive film meant more candid photos, smiles and happiness were much more acceptable than the stern faces of the old photos!
