How to Write a Form Letter Thank-You Note, That Sounds Personal

The party's over, the gifts have been unwrapped, and now it's time for one last reminder to everyone that you got married. The thank you notes.

Depending on how many guests and gifts you received, you could possibly be writing hundreds of thank you notes, enough to make you feel like they will never end. Luckily for you, there's a simple way to make writing thank you notes slightly easier: fill-in-the-blank form letters. You'll need to create two different letters, one to send to people who didn't go to the wedding and sent a gift, and one to send to the people who came and brought a gift.

-If they came to the wedding, thank them for making the trip, tell them a memory you have of them at the wedding: For example: "It's always fun to see you dancing on the dance floor!"

-If they didn't come, start by telling them that you missed them at the wedding and hope to see them again soon.

-Thank them for the "generous gift." There is no need to say what yet.

-Tell them what you plan to do with it. For Example: "I can't wait to bake cookies for the first time on my brand new cookie sheets!" OR "We're saving all the money we got at the wedding as a down payment on a new car!"

-If they came, tell them again how glad you were to see them and that you can't wait to see them again.

-If they didn't make it, say how much you miss them and wish they could have celebrated with you.

-Thank them again and sign off.

Easy peezy, you can do this! Grab several pens and a movie you can watch while writing
all these out and make you Mamma proud by sending out great thank you notes!
