Special Gifts for Your Special Wedding Party

Being a bridesmaid or groomsman is expensive! We all know that being the bride or groom is more expensive, but don't take for granted the time, effort, and money put in by your best friends part of your wedding party. They not only spend countless hours helping you plan and prep but they have to pay for their dresses or tuxes, bachelorette or bachelor parties, wedding showers, gifts, and any expense of traveling or taking off work necessary. Most members of your bridal party will do this happily just because they love you and want to see you happy, but it's still nice to thank them for everything they've done for you to make this a wonderful time of your life. Here are some ideas for gifts:

His: Cuff links etched with his favorite sports, superhero, or any other thing he might be interested in's logo. He can wear these on the day of the wedding with his tuxedo and have them for the next black tie occasion he attends.

Hers: A necklace or bracelet with something special on it, a pendant with your wedding flowers, a heart charm, something meaningful. Your bridesmaids could also wear them to the wedding and not worry about buying their own jewelry for the day!

His: An engraved pocket knife. It doesn't have to say anything horribly cheesy, just something like "thank you for being part of our day" and your names, or even something as simple as his initials.

Hers: A romper or robe or comfy pajama set in your colors so you all look cute in comfort while getting ready for the big day! You could even have them personalized with "Maid of Honor," "Matron of Honor," or "Bridesmaid."

His: Cigars you can all share at the bachelor party or during the reception. Make them the good kind, the kind you only break out on special occasions. The kind that smells good.

Hers: Slippers and an at home foot spa kit. A foot file, foot mask, lotion, and tie nail polish for a soothing their feet after the wedding!

His: Personalized flask. Even if he doesn't use it to hide alcohol it will be an interesting conversation piece.

Hers: Personalized tote bags. Girls gotta have their tote bags, why not give them a practical gift so they can carry everything they need to get ready for your wedding!

His: A nice grill set. One that comes in a box and requires wood conditioner. One the kids aren't allowed to use but they want to.

Hers: A picture of the two of you. But I'm not talking a simple printed picture in a frame. Do something fancy. Shutterfly has dozens of picture gifts you could give your girls from canvas prints (pricey!) to coffee mugs (not pricey!)

His: Two words. Beer. Mugs.

Hers: A bottle of wine. Don't need to sirens a fortune, there are plenty of really good wines for under $15 each! The Reggie Wine or Winking Owl Wine, you'll be impressed.

Theirs: A nice pair of sunglasses. The kind no one buys themselves because they can't imagine spending that much on sunglasses. Yeah, those.
