Something borrowed isn't just lucky or traditional, but it's a great way to include a loved one in your wedding. It can be in incredibly touching tribute to borrow a portion of your weddings day look or ceremony from someone who's impacted your life in one way or another.
1. Kate Middleton borrowed a tiara from the queen as her Something Borrowed, and while I'm sure your in-laws probably don't have something of that importance laying around, you could still borrow jewelry or another headpiece from them!
2. Your veil, especially since veils can be a bit pricey, this is a good way to save some money too!
3. Broaches or bows to be incorporated into your bouquet. This is a good way to borrow from multiple people!
4. A handkerchief to wrap around the base of your bouquet.
5. Wedding dress. Yes, you can borrow your wedding gown! Daughters have been borrowing their mothers' dresses for decades, even though it had fallen slightly out of favor in recent years. Your mom isn't the only person you can borrow your dress from though, borrow from your grandma, sister, or even start a "Sisterhood of the traveling dress" with a group of friends!
6. Even your vows can be borrowed! Maybe not all of them, but if a portion of a loved one's vows stood out to you as touching or relevant you could quote them for your vows.
