Top 10 TV Sitcom Weddings

Everyone loves a good sitcom. Half an hour of laughter and drama, and characters that feel like friends. That's why when two of our favorite characters get married we love to see what comedy- and often trouble- will ensue. And usually I end up crying.

One rule, only one wedding per sitcom is allowed, so while there are other beautiful, hilarious, and meaningful weddings in the same show, but only the best one of each show!


10. Fran and Maxwell "The Nanny"

My very first favorite sitcom! It felt like these two were never gonna get married! You had to know that Fran Fine's wedding was going to be extravagant, and she didn't disappoint! I dreamed of having such ornate floral arrangements and bouquets at my wedding!

9. Karen and Lyle "Will & Grace"

Sure, their marriage only lasted a couple hours, but it sure was fun! A fabulous, but not over the top Las Vegas wedding with a rooftop nighttime reception. I specifically remember how gorgeous the view was! With a view like that, the reception decorates itself!

8. Howard and Bernadette "The Big Bang Theory"

Poor Bernadette didn't get the wedding she was hoping and planning for since their wedding had to be moved up for Howard's departure into space, but it was still a romantic ceremony on the rooftop surrounded by only their closest family and friends. And we gotta admit, capturing the wedding on Google Earth is one of the coolest things ever!

7. Jeannie and Tony "I Dream of Jeannie"

You'd think that someone who can blink anything she wants into existence would have the perfect wedding, and they did! Minus that little mishap about Jeannie not being able to be in any of her wedding photos...

6. Marshall and Lily "How I Met Your Mother"

The writers outdid themselves when they were thinking of ways to ruin Lily and Marshall's wedding... from the harpist going into labor, the veil being run over by a car, the flowers not being delivered, and Marshall shaving off part of his hair. But this wedding was still beautiful because, you know what, they have each other and they have great friends. And that's all that mattered.

5. Jim and Pam "The Office"

Secretly getting married at Niagara Falls right before your wedding is pretty much the most romantic thing ever. And even though it wasn't in the plan, the dancing down the aisle was pretty darn cool!

4. Jesse and Becky "Full House"

Everyone cried when Uncle Jesse sang "Forever" to Becky at their wedding. YOU KNOW YOU DID, DON'T LIE!

3. Mitch and Cam "Modern Family"

It takes a while to get there, since they had to change wedding venues more than a couple times... but! The wedding that eventually takes place is heartfelt and sweet. Not at all over done (as Cam would have had it) but perfect and classy in every way!

2. Cory and Topenga "Boy Meets World"

So technically it wasn't "their" wedding (It was a gift... and hard to explain... just watch the episode if you haven't seen it.). But this wedding was SIX YEARS in the making! We watched as they grew up together, and even when they weren't together (you know, that weird season when they broke up) you knew that this was what you were waiting for all along!

1. Phoebe and Mike "Friends"

There were plenty of "Friends" weddings to choose from, and there were a couple others that almost made the list! But, the most perfect wedding in my book is Phoebe's wedding to Mike. The snow, the lights, her gown, the music, oh! Everything was perfect! The only thing wrong with this wedding is the fact that I wasn't the one marrying Mike...
