How to Get Your Fiance to Help Plan Your Wedding

There are two common complaints brides to be have when it comes to their grooms to be. Either "My fiance has too many ideas for our wedding and they clash with my dreams..." or "My fiance is completely disinterested in anything wedding!"

So what do you do if your future hubby is showing no interest in helping you plan what is supposed to be the best day of both of your lives? The trick is finding something that isn't going to completely bore him and trick him into being excited about your wedding.

How do you do this?

Food:

This is the one area that even your fiance is going to have to partake in, whether he's involved in the choosing process or just eats it at the reception. Take him to tastings, ask him his input on sides and appetizers (as these are usually where there are more options). Plus, who doesn't like free food?

Tuxedos/Men's Attire:

Your fiance, whether he likes it or not, has to wear clothes to the wedding. Ask him opinions on his outfit: bow tie or straight tie? White, black, or colored suit and pants? Let him choose his own fun socks and cuff links.

Readers or other wedding assistants:

Ask him if he has any friends or family members he would want involved in the ceremony whether as a reader or maybe someone to say a prayer or hand out programs.

Registry:

These stores, whether online or brick and mortar, are filled with anything and everything you never thought you wanted or needed. Have fun picking dish patterns, touching soft towels and sheets, and even games or home decor. Go crazy! You never know what someone might buy you!
