Laser Tag-
It's ok to shoot your friends on your wedding day! Did you know you could rent laser tag equipment to turn any space into a pretend war zone? And with a little research you can find these places for as little as $11 a person! Places like Game Truck will even set up your arena for you!
Mystery Dinner-
So your closest friends and family have gathered together in celebration of your union. Maybe they expect dancing, maybe they know you don't have dancing at your reception and are curious how they will be entertained. Either way, no one expected a murder! After dinner a blood curdling scream can be heard and as guests rush to see they find a dead (not really, it's a hired actor) body. Your wedding guests are all now pretend suspects in a pretend murder. Advice for making this work: Hire a professional writer, someone who has dealt with writing for groups of this size, one of those box kits aren't going to work. Also, tip off the pretend murderer, you don't want the bad guy to leave before someone has a chance to figure out it was them!
Carnival-
Renting carnival rides, bounce houses, and food trucks can be an excellent way to celebrate anything, even weddings! Don't get me wrong, this is going to be expensive running about $1,00-$2,000 per ride, but if the entertainment budget is there, it could be a great way to make your first married memories and socialize with your family and friends!
Backyard BBQ and Bonfire-
Rent backyard games such as Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Lawn Darts, Lawn Bowling, Mini Putt Putt, Hillbilly Golf, Ring Toss, Horseshoes- the possibilities are endless! You could even set up a tent and tables for some fun games in the shade with decks of cards and dominoes. As the night gets later start a bonfire and celebrate with fireworks! The perfect summer celebration!
Bowling-
Look into renting a bowling alley! There's usually plenty of food and beverage options, arcade games, and lots of space to dance for those who are into it!
Casino Night-
Rent or create poker, blackjack, and craps tables and a roulette wheel! Prepare your guests ahead of time so they know not to bring gifts and instead spend their money on this fun evening of gambling, with all the proceeds going toward the bride and groom!
Karaoke-
Plenty of DJs offer Karaoke services in additions to their usual wedding packages! If you think your group of friends would be up for it, why not let them be the source of the evening's entertainment?
Circus Entertainers-
Your love is on fire, and so is that guy's breath! A fire breather, some contortionists, a few magicians, a petting zoo, and some non-scary clowns can entertain your guests young and old all evening. A bit over the top? Yes. Totally awesome? YES!
